NOA1 4/4 and still nothing. Always disappointing to wake up and see no changes.

so sorry about that. it's the fear that we all had coming into this. Waiting and watching other people get theirs and not seeing ours. you just have to have faith. Knowing that the person you've found is the person you believe in makes it worth the wait. Just know that in the end it will all work out.

Just a question, does your noa2 the same as the estimated date from your timeline per visajourney? Or earlier?

Thanks. :)

My estimated NOA2 date was as late as July 21-26 for some time, and then the past couple weeks it came down to July 16-20 at its earliest because of the recent surge of processing. My petition was approved on June 28th, so I was one of the lucky few that got the NOA2 very quickly (64 days). I think at this point, most people will receive their NOA2 earlier than their estimated dates. I think the current projections are at 83 days.

So, those of you with early April NOA1 dates, it's likely just around the corner, but processing times per case vary so much, it's hard to know for sure. My guess is that complicated cases take much more time to process because of outside factors, such as potential third-party vendors for background checks or verification checks. Or somebody could be so unlucky as to have their case on the desk of somebody on vacation :(

Yay! Finally got approved after 86 days!

NOA1 4/4/2016

NOA2 4/29/2016

Status got updated pretty much exactly at 22.45 EDT. Now to figure out what all stuff I need to prepare for interview and so worth. So happy.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting. No idea why ours took this "long" but maybe this gives a glimmer of hope for the early April filers.

We can't help but think something is wrong. There are way too many people who filed after us getting approved, and we have heard nothing. Always wondering if our case was misplaced, or worse. Maybe its just the anticipation of what's to come clouding the reality of what really is. Somebody tell us again that it is completely normal for cases to be approved out-of-order, because at this point it seems off balance. We need that assurance.
