I have received a mail regarding my checklist at 18 March 2016...but it states 2 different messages....

The 1st one is for my Agent>>>which stated:
- FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________
We reviewed the Affidavit of Support documentation you sent to the National Visa Center
(NVC). According to the current poverty guidelines, it does not appear you or any of your
sponsors meet the minimum income requirement
to sponsor the intending immigrant(s)
for this petition. To avoid delays, you may have an additional sponsor complete an
Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) and provide it to the intending immigrant to submit at
their interview. At that time, a consular officer will make a decision regarding this
requirement.

The 2nd one is for my Petitioner>>>which stated:

We reviewed your I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial
documents. While we will schedule your case for an interview, either your Affidavit of Support was
incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. This could affect the Consular
Officer's ability to make a decision on your case.
On the attached Affidavit of Support Assessment Letter, we have put an "X" by each item you need to
correct. Go to the Department of State's website at http://nvc.state.gov/aos and follow the instructions for
the Affidavit of Support form(s).
Form I-864: Assessment Letter for ____XXX____________________________
The National Visa Center (NVC) recently reviewed your I-864 Affidavit of Support form. The
Affidavit of Support form had one or more sections with missing or incorrect information or
was missing required supporting documents, or both.
Please review the instructions below to complete a new Affidavit of Support form or to obtain
the missing supporting documents. Send the corrected Affidavit of Support form or original
documents that are missing to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the
immigrant visa interview. You should also send photocopies of the Affidavit of Support form
to the principal applicant for each traveling family member to take to the visa interview.

[x] You must submit the following supporting financial evidence:
[x] Your _____2014______________________________ W-2 Form(s).

Sorry for posting a lot of details...but my confusion is which i need to provide at the time of interview...only the corrected I-864 of my sponsor & his 2014 W2 forms or a new sponsor because they stated my sponsor did not meet the income requirement at the letter which was sent to my agent,

Plz help me through this situtaion.... :)

You must bring a new I-864 to interview for the petitioner with all appropriate documents and make sure you have a sponsor that meets the poverty guidelines.

If your sponsor's income is not sufficient, but they stated and documented sufficient assets to make up for the shortfall, you would get this kind of checklist. If NVC is going ahead and completing the case and forwarding it, I expect your joint sponsor IS qualified, and that they are just telling you the Consular Officer will be making that decision.

I saw this happen when the petitioner/sponsor was retired and documented over half a million in liquid assets.

My interview letter says my visa type is CR1...not IR1?? What's the difference between IR1/CR1? Is there any problem that i don't get IR1 status?

Your profile shows you filed F2A but your interview letter says CR1? Are you filing as a Legal Permanent Resident or as a US Citizen? Can you update your timeline and auto-link it so members of VJ can assist you better?

From my understanding CR1 is Conditional Resident -- This means you have been married for less than 2 years. The beneficiary's permanent Resident status would be considered "Conditional." You would be given a green card with a Conditional Resident stamp with 2 year validity at Port of Entry. Before 2 years from the POE Date (90 days before that 2 year anniversary of POE) you and your spouse will need to start the process to remove conditional status and get your 10 year permanent resident green card.

IR1 is Immediately Relative, married at least 2 years with a Permanent Resident status and green card validity up to 10 years. It can be renewed again unless your spouse becomes a citizen before that.

If you've been married less than 2 years then being a CR1 is normal.

Others previous to my post have already answered your question. Your checklist is saying you need to prove that you are 125% above the poverty guidelines and NVC is not seeing that you have provided sufficient evidence to that. They are being flexible and instead of holding you at NVC until you provide those documents, they are moving forward with your case and allowing the beneficiary to take it with him/her to the interview.
