2 week since NOA2 from CSC and still no record at NVC

It has been exxactly 2 weeks since I received the NOA2 from the CSC and I still get a have record of this case or has not been received message from NVC, should I follow up with CSC to make sure it has been sent or should I just be patient? How long does this take. I see other filers getting confirmation from NVC in less time.

(Lines are usually busy, timings of the NVC phone line are 7:30 AM - 12 midnight Eastern. Call immediately when they open or right before they close for best luck with getting through to a live rep).

I always had such a struggle getting through to the so started calling just before they closed and that seemed to work best.

Has been mentioned many times before you have to talk to a (real) person not the automatic answering part. Send your embassy a email its probably been there a few days.

Thanks for the info. I had been listening just to the automated message. I got a hold of a live rep and the case has already been sent to the embassy. Wheew! What a relief, I was starting to really worry it would take a lot longer. Thanks to all who replied.

WOW. Your timeline is unbelievable!! THREE weeks btwn the NOA1 and NOA2 ??? Congratulations!!!!!!!! I'm stunned (and envious) at the speed which your application has moved onto NVC.

I was lucky enough to file at vermont. There are people MUCH quicker than me too! I think someone clocked 3 days, they didn't even get an NOA1!!!

nice!! :thumbs: i must be right along you i guess.. no success getting thru NVC.. too busy at work.. but i'll contact the consulate in rio next week to see if they got mine too... i assume mine also arrived in NVC and was sent out.. let's see if i get more luck later, tomorrow.. or before friday at least..GOOD LUCK!!

I have seen a few go through Vermont in 3-4 days. I have seen a few go through NVC in as little as two days. It would be a real shocker for someone to combine a quick trip through VT and a quick trip through NVC. You would almost have your interview date while the stamp was still wet on the NOA-1.

Actually I am getting to watch a lot of people go through as I sit in limbo. I would suggest if you don't get a notice from NVC within about 3 weeks to start calling and press option 5 to talk to a real person. Worst case scenario is what happened to me. The decided to send mine for Administrative Review from NVC which is basically a big black hole you fall into with no idea how long you will be there and no way to get real information. The all time record I have heard of for A/R is 8 years. Mine is at two months and climbing. One other VJ'r is at 9 months and climbing. Hopefully yours is on the way to the embassy and they are just slow on the notice.
