hello everyone , i am about to send documents to nvc, my question is my joint sponsor filled tax jointly for the year of 2015.she made $30k and her household size would be 3( her husband +beneficiary and herself). do she needs to get her husband to sign i-864a?

second she filed 2015 tax return online through tax turbo?can we use tax return we do not have tax transcipts ?

should we send last 3 year tax returns or just most recent one which is 2015. she did not make enough in 2014 she made 18k.

please help us out :)

It would be a good idea for her husband to provide an I-864a if they filed their taxes jointly.

You can send the entire tax return (1040, w2s, all schedules etc..) which will likely be lengthy, or get a tax return transcript.

You can send the most recent year, or the last 3 years. Up to you. If her husband send an I-864a as well would that put the poverty guideline over the limit for 2014?

hi

what did she make in 2014? if you are sending it now, 2015 isn't needed

the amount that you said is herself only, right, not what the taxes say? if so then she doesn't need her husband, she would need her W2s and the i864 would have her individual income, not combined with her husband

in 2014 she made 18k. but if she combine her income with her husband then they made more then 50k.

we were just thinking since she made 30k in 2015 we should not ask her husband to submit i-864a.because she is not really willing but will do if it is important

The I-864a also is good because it means both spouses understand and are willing to sponsor. It's not needed, but it's good to have. You can use just the 2015 taxes if you wish, but she would likely need to send the entire 2015 tax return.

i have few question if anyone can answer please i already post them but no one answer

i have joint sponsor and she filed her taxes jointly with her husband ,her husband will sign i-864a as well

now the question is on my joint sponsor i-864 in part 6 where it asks to put last 3 year tax return total income

should we put joint income or her individual income?

second my wife who is my petitioner she did not make enough in 2013 so she did not file taxes so in part 6 she should say NO to the question if you filed most recent 3 years taxes?

Joint income. Line 22 (Total Income) from the Form 1040.

Even if her husband wasn't sponsoring as well, you would still need to put whatever amount was on the tax returns. It may be useful to enclose W2s as well for each although it may not be necessary.

Yes, it says each of the 3 most recent years. So that would be a no. Make sure she encloses a statement stating why she didn't file in 2013. (Something along the lines of her not earning enough to file etc.)
