If you want I can add you to February filers. Technically February 29 is still a February month :)

Let me know if you want to be added to our thread.

The NOA date is what has been used in the past to determine which group you fall into.

Since he sent on Feb 29th, he'd be a March filer if we follow what most people do.

But in close calls like that, we usually let the applicant decide which month he prefers.

07/26/2012 - 10/18/2012: 85 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Removal of Conditions
07/22/2014 - 11/14/2014: 116 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Naturalization
02/03/2016 - 05/31/2016 : 119 Days from Application Received to Oath Ceremony.

It's much easier to categorize if we go by when they sent their packet.

It just depends on what you mean by "filing" is it the date you send the apication or the date it is filed by USCIS.

Each month's group can do what they want.

I was just replying to the specific comment that the application sent on 2/29 should be moved to February ... normally that would be considered a March filer, but it's up to the group and the applicant. Doesn't make any difference.

Field Office: Queens, but my GC case was handled at Holtsville.

05/22/2012 - MAILED AOS PACKAGE.
06/04/2012 - RECEIVED NOTICE IN THE MAIL.
06/04/2012 - RECEIVED BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT IN THE MAIL.
06/06/2012 - WALK IN BIOMETRICS COMPLETED.
07/11/2012 - TEXT AND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS OF I-485 INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT.
07/13/2012 - RECEIVED HARD COPY OF INTERVIEW NOTICE IN THE MAIL.
07/28/2012 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDER.
08/04/2012 - EAD CARD IN HAND.
08/15/2012 - GC INTERVIEW. APPROVED. PASSPORT STAMPED.
