My fiance was just told that I have a drug case. I have not been in trouble for anything since we have been together. I was caught with weed in 2008 and 2011, but was only charged in 08 with a small fee and small amount. In 2013 I got a DUI. I thought it was all over.

I purchased a background check from the city, county, and the city I was charged in 2008 for literally a toothpick joint that was a joke that I don't think even had weed in it but I paid the fine because I did not know better back then.

I background checks actually only showed traffic tickets.

Is there anything I can do?

Jesus man. I didn't know this was that type of forum.... Dr Phil lol.

She has all of my background checks.

I had actually purchased 4 of them. KBI shows that the charges were disposed of in 2011, but also says I spent time in jail and was on probation in 2011. Again, not true.

Thanks for the help. I'll tell Oprah about your fantastic advice

Sorry I spent the time to type the extra info. I realize it is the same thing as heroin. I did not know that I was the only person who had ran into this problem.

But really. I guess there is no problem. The last time I had questions there were a few kind replies. Sorry I'm a crackhead. And apparently so is my fiance.

It's just a little strange that I have a doppelganger who spent jail time for me...

Between the rude comments, I have done a little reading and talked with my fiance. The problem was that she did not know that I spent time in jail. She thinks that she needs to schedule another appointment and show them where it says "charges disposed of" underneath the jail an probation section.

Thanks guys

Got my stuff legit. My fiance was freaking out because she did not understand why they did not give her the approval. Basically from the page they gave her, when I seen it, the checked box was at the bottom. She thought they wanted the whole process again.

Basically when the petitioner has any type of history, they want to reschedule the appointment for her to be sure that she is aware that I have a background.

Reason is because there are dangerous people who trick women to come to them.

Of course you already knew that

EDIT lol

You knew that already because u commented on my post.

The reason my joke was funny because stating Oprah is just as hacky as stating Dr. Phil

It's OK. I understand why people write hateful things on the internet.

And to add, since im so paranoid about laws I break, that perfectly explains why I got a hold of every background check possible, made copies, and sent it with the requested paperwork ;)

I think not. Not in my case anyways. But it would be smart to stay sober. I'm not entirely sure what all went on in my fiance's physical. Here in the U.S., depending on the job u have, like mine because it is under federal laws, require drug testing even if weed is legal in the state you work in.
