Hey! I just wanted to update really quickly - this morning my husband and I checked our status as we do every day and FINALLY it changed! My AP and EAD have both been approved and my EAD was produced on the 27th of May! I AM SO EXCITED AND CANNOT WAIT TO START WORKING

I'm super excited to see that you got your approval!!!! Congrats.

Our timelines are so close, that I am keeping my fingers, toes, and everything else crossed that I'll hear something this week too!

I got a new update for my case inquiry: On June 1, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SRXXXX, was assigned to an officer for response.

Hopefully I'll hear something soon!

Im reposting our timeline. No updates as of today Day 84.

Last update Card is being produced was on May 21 (appeared online May 23)

March 7-sent in package to chicago lockbox

March 25- got update online that checks were cashed on March 21 and March 9 was the priority date. I had to go check with the bank and see if my checked was cashed cause it just took too long! From the cashed checked I was able to stalk the Case numbers!

March 27- received NOAs for 3 applications

April 19- Biometrics and same day got online update on RFE

May 11- got an update that the RFE we sent on April 28 was received on May 2

May 12- case status for I-485 changed to Ready to be be scheduled for Interview

Basically nothing was updated on a timely manner in our case online so it just has been so unreliable so far.

Update: on May 20 we called USCIS to ask about EAD, was told that we should call back on Day 75.

May 23; update online says On May 21, new card was being produced.

I really want to share this here... from my experience with calling them and asking for a tier 2

So far, I have called many times and asked for a tier 2 (because every tier 2 tells me always to just call them back in about a week, no problem... and so I do)

Whenever I have a girl agent, they keep repeating the same stuff, don't want to transfer me (until I am forced to just be plain rude to them) and tell me that they know everything, the tier 2 can't help me any more than they can... (seriously every single girl so far)

But whenever I had a guy on the other end, they transfered me straight away, no problem at all and are super helpful...

It just blows my mind how different it is!

As my husband is going on base for 2 weeks, and soon also has to go on training for 2 months and I will be home, I will NEED to have my drivers license so I can get groseries etc... I am really getting desperate to get my greencard send.... ><

No text or email just showed up on the online tracker. Hopefully we hear something soon - I've already lost 2 jobs because they wouldn't wait for my EAD and our savings are dwindling so fast

Oh man. I understand the desperation to get your GC soon, my husband is in the military too and opted out of a deployment because I would have been stranded at home for 3 months. About getting though to the tier2 officers, I have had both experiences, but its been mixed based on gender. I had one helpful lady and today I had a guy that didn't even want to check my receipt number and just told me to wait 15 more days for EAD approval and I'm past the 90 day period. At least, your application has been approved so that takes quite a bit of stress off.

i'm really sorry about that. They don't seem to care how delaying stuff affects our lives. I just want my case to be assigned to someone so at least I know they are looking at it.

Update: I just checked my case tracker and it say

As of June 1, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number TxxxxMSC, is on hold while we request your case file.

What does yours say? Does it say the same thing?

Edit: I just re-read your earlier post and noticed you have a different message. I wonder what mine means?

B and E, it is all nice that my greencard has been approved, but with my EAD approved on may 4th, the greencard approval came at the wrong time. Because if my greencard got approved in a month from now, or maybe even a few weeks later than the 16th, I would have my EAD by now, get my DL and a job going... I honestly think I am a bit unlucky with the date of my approval... it's like a reset of card production >< I really hope the tier 2 can help me out with the production being done... I really am starting to panic a bit... why am I so unlucky that I don't get my greencard a week after approval like everybody else?

I just hope you guys get your card produced right after approval, because being approved but not having the actual card is a pain (since they tell you to wait 60 days!!!)

We mailed all of our docs Feb 26, 2016, with a receipt date of 3/1 and still do not have our EAD or AP.... We did not even get to do our Bio till May 9 which is way later than most of you... I submitted an inquiry on 4/27 and the status just changed that it was assigned to an officer. We called a Tier two officer last Friday in which he told us to call back after 90 days of USCIS receipt of 3/1 which is today. I probably won't have time to call today but I am hoping for something soon as this is surely stressful.

Today I got an actual reason why my card is taking so long, it was printed wrong and didn't get through inspection so they have to redo it.... and he can't tell me when I can expect it but I can go to a field office with the approval notice and get a "temporary greencard" from there to get my drivers license... let's hope it works!

Wow 60 days is a really long time to wait for an approved GC. I hope you are able to get it faster than that so you can get your license before you husband leaves.

not just for greencard, there are people around here that also heard to wait 60 days for EAD etc. When your card gets missprinted you are just screwed big time... but at least I can get a temporary one and they said that I have a chance to get my DL with that
