Photos as proof of relationship

I have a question about photos which we will need to send as part of the proof of relationship for the I-129F form. We certainly have plenty of digital pictures taken over our 3 year relationship as a couple and wth other peoople in them. My question is, can we send a CD form of the pictures which will show the dates that the pictures were taken??? If we can't do this then how do we go about printing out pictures that will show the dates- or do we just print out our pictures on our printer and put the dates on the back with our signatures? I would appreciate advice on this

A CD is not accepted. You can print out your pictures and write the date and brief description on the backs. You can do this any place like Kinko's , and it only takes a few minutes.

I printed our pictures out on photo paper. I read posts that others have just used plain paper and had no problems.

I wouldn't send a CD....

I printed pictures off at our local drug store and wrote the date, location (to support primary evidence such as plane tickets) and the names on the people in the shot (which were mostly me and my fiancé and some with family)

There are some online services that date stamp photographs I believe, but its not totally neccessary.

I would not send CD. I doubt the adjudicator will bother with viewing it. Easiest way is to attach your pictures to a piece of paper and write a date when it was taken and where. Other documents: flight itinerary, boarding pass, etc. will be a proof of your visit.

There are a lot fancier ways to print pictures with dates out there.

We just printed out the photos - several on a page - with the dates and descriptions as captions under each photo.

Remember too, photos are secondary evidence: that means you need to include even better evidence along with the photos like boarding passes, copies of stamped pages in your passports showing you going to the fiance's country or the fiance coming here, hotel receipts with both your names, etc . . . .

I had the same problem...now a days we all have Digi cams,all you do is go to like a drug store and print a few out,thats what I did.

I then wrote our names on the back and where the picture was taken in which year.I included like 5 pictures.

The rest of the evidence is important also,like flight tickets,Email letters etc.

I am thinking about doing the following thing - print the pic and then make print screen of the picture of the cursor of the mouse over it(this way a ltl note pops up and it says when the pic was taken). I think this is the most we can do with datingf the picture other than writing myself the date and location on the back. Of course it is not as having a newspaper with the date on it but I think it is a lot harder to fake that than if u just put the dates...

What do u guys think?

All right I am obsessed but i am obsessed with the idea to be with him...

Passport stamps of course are the hardest evidence but i read somewhere in this forum about a RFE askin for more evidence with pass stamps and boarding passes and other secondary evidence...not all of us have hotel receipts-who would think I would have to prove that we have seen each other?I am so glad I keep the boarding passes...

Generally aslong as theres pictures, passport stamps and perhaps boarding passes/tickets, its fine.

I just sent in passport stamps and photos.

You're going to be okay! Take a deep-breath and relax.

You can handwrite the dates on the photos or type them on. It's fine. We did that. Lots of others did that too. Most of the time, people take photos not thinking about how good they'll be for evidence later on, right? You took the photo because you thought "hey, this is a pretty spot" or "you look cute in that shirt, say cheese."

DO NOT stress at this point about and RFE. Do what you can now - include the evidence people here have suggested: boarding passes, passport stamps, etc. Print out a selection of photos. Write the dates on them. Don't go overboard trying to rig something up - THAT just might end up looking suspicious.

Then send in your package, buy a nice bottle of wine, and sit back and relax . . . for the next 7-12 months.

Do both. Pictures and CD. I send them pictures with the date imprinted along with the memory card off my digital camera. Although they proberly won't look at it but it's solid proof nontheless.

Don't give them your expensive memory card!

If you're really worrying about how easy it would be for someone to fake up a photo, etc, the memory card or a CD-ROM offers no better proof since you can manually set the date on your camera to be whatever you want.

Seriously, all, calm down. Print, handwrite, mail. You'll be okay.
