case status update

hello all, we submitted our k1 petition on the 21st of December and got our Noa1 on the 31st of December.. when we check our case status on the USCIS website, all it tells us " case is received", my question, what message will it display when our case is being worked on or will it just change from case received to case approved directly? pls help thanks

You should either get a notification of RFE, or it will just change to "My case is approved". I have never seen an 'in between' message.

That's correct, it remains in that state unless they need something further from you. The fact that you got the NOA means they are processing things.

If there is an update to your petition then you'd get a notification of approved or RFE as Amhara has already said. Typically they update the app at night around 11pm (est). Lets hope you get an approval within the next week or so! Wish you the best kingjulian!

hi everyone,

just got off the phone to uscis about an I-131 AP query. Whilst on the phone i asked about my pending I-485 AOS as there had been no updates since notification of them receiving an RFE on Nov 2nd 2015. I asked the person if my case was still at NVC as i had not received any notifications that my case had been transferred to a local office (Denver ). He then said Denver are processing cases received on 28th jan 2015 the current estimate for a G.C. interview would be Nov 2016. Has anyone experienced not getting notification when their case been transferred and does Denver always interview or does get waived . Many tx for your help.
