I did, and I have already received biometrics appointment letter for N400. My i-751 is still pending and the status of the case is 'accepted on March 10, 2016'. I didn't have any luck with case inquiry so I decided to send n-400. It seems to be moving fast so far ?

I am also march 10 2016 filer. I didn't get approval. I also put service request. I think our case assigned to the officer who has back log or might be on vacation.

So, USCIS has, once again, proved their incompetence.
 
I have changed my address on December 16th, and received confirmation in the mail on both addresses, old and new. I received my approval notice at the new address on March 4th, and received a response to a service request I filed in the mail at the new address on March 24th. 
 
I called today and spoke to a Tier-2 officer and first thing she asks for is my address. When I give her my new one, she says "That address isn't the one we have on file for you." I proceeded to telling her I have received multiple notices at the new address, and her response was "Well, it might have been updated at your local office, but it wasn't updated on the system." And guess what! The card was delivered today to the old address. Now, I am going to have to go through hoops to find that damn card.
 
my thoughts to you is: if you have changed your address, get an InfoPass and make sure it is updated. No matter how many times I have called to confirm the address change, it's obvious that it was not.

Just curious...hope you don't mind me asking: Did you also request mail forwarding from the post office? That could have compensated for USCIS "incompetence". 

Mail forwarding works but every now and then one or two pieces of mail still make it to the old address so the suggestion for InfoPass is good advice.

Well, the thing is that the previous address was my attorneys and "the address wasn't eligible for forwarding" - I am guessing because it was not a residence.

 

And forwarding isn't a 100% reliable too - some stuff fall through the cracks!

I remember at InfoPass she told me the address wasn't updated yet and takes time to update. I am guessing I should have followed up on it!

Hi! Are we March filers allowed to put in a case inquiry request yet? USCIS website shows they are processing Feb 15, 2016 cases so I was wondering if I should wait for case inquiry request until it updates to some March date. Did you get any response once you submitted a case inquiry request? I went ahead and filed N-400 last week as well. Immigration is frustrating in every countries.

I wonder if that has anything to do with that backlog issue we had with I-130s in 2013/14. There did come a time in that process when they sent a lot of petitions out to other offices and started approving them quite quickly... which would mean that there are a lot more filers having to apply for ROC now. Since we have a statistically insignificant number of people on any of these VJ forums, we might not be seeing it, but there might be a massive stack of applications from March at USCIS, if that's when the I-130s finally started coming through back then.

I put in request when they had a glitch in their website and all processing times were showing July. So in response I received a message stating that my case is pending review but they regret to inform me that there is no estimated time they can provide. So I don't really care about it anymore as long as n400 has been accepted and being processed. I may be in that category that receives their GC just to hand it back around the time of the final step ☺

So can we apply for citizenship even though we have not yet heard regarding the ROC, if it's approved?
