Hey February Filers,

I'm new to VJ, but I'm at the same point in the process as a lot of you (NOA2 on April 13, waiting on the NVC number.) Congrats everyone on all the good news lately!

I'm curious to see how quickly you get an appointment for a medical in London, Texas2016. Keep us updated? :)

Thanks!

Quick update. Our petition got to NVC yesterday. Called again today and got our case number. Looking at the trends, I'd assume our case will be on its way to Montreal today or tomorrow and arrive within a week. Almost at the finish line!

I called earlier today and they hadn't received our case number yet! I'm debating calling again tonight or just calling tomorrow. Also yay for another Montreal person! :) I hope everything goes well!

Well, I guess it would depend. I called yesterday and was told that they received my case but no case number yet. I figured it would have one the next day because everyone else on here had theirs at NVC no more than about 3 days. So I called and got the number. Assuming it'll be out tomorrow. I figure once it hits NVC, it's about a 3 day turn around... But that's just going off of the timelines here, of course. Still about a week until it hits the embassy.

Hi Georgia16,

I have tried to enter my case number in the non-immigrant visa, however it says my case number is incorrect however when I choose immigrant visa and I enter my case number it says that it's at NVC and I should follow the instructions and pay the fees etcetera. Could you confirm what I should do because I thought the K1 visa is a non-immigrant visa.

Thanks Georgia :)

Yes you should pick immigrant visa. And whatever it says in the text both now and later don't look to much in to it because it's not correct for us :)

your case in at NVC and will soon go to in transit when it's on it's way to your embassy and when they have it it'll say ready :)
