Yess! It will!

When is your graduation?

June 8th but after we are going to Punta Cana but I'm scared because I don't want them to give me an interview date while I'm gone. It seems they give interviews a month out though so I think I am okay. Still hoping I get approved without an interview fingers crossed ??? so happy for you that's awesome you got your green card especially since they messed up your EAD !!

My status says EAD Card is being produced for the past 20 days. No change. I called USCIS, they said "Allow 60 days for the card to be produced".

I don't understand. I see other people, almost everyone get their cards withing the next week.

Did anyone have to deal with this before?

It goes from card being produced to card has been mailed to me that's the update that means it's coming you won't get it until that update generally.

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

Congrats!

Just curious, is it a card like EAD or a paper letter?

Just a paper letter. I did not apply for EAD though.

By the way: they used the pictures I sent, not the one from the biometrics.

Fear not! It says on the website (and in the email they send you) when your interview will be, so you don't have to worry about being surprised with an interview.

Same here, haven't really counted the days but EAD was approved on April 26th and I still don't have the card. Called tier 2 on Friday May 13th, rep filed a service request and said I should hear something by May 28th.

I put in a service request 2 weeks ago. I called last Tuesday and spoke to Tier 2 and was told that I would receive my card within "10 days, tops". now at day 8 with nothing. Called again yesterday and was told it can take up to 60 days from approval date. I'm at 100 days now...if it takes another 30 days I'll be at 130.

It is extremely worrying that you can't get a definitive or straight answer on the status of the case when you call.

Do you think USCIS website suck? My friend got her interview letter in hand but the status on website never changed. My status for EAD saids: card is being produced from 28 April and i haven't received my combo card yet. Called the tier 2, the guy said that, i have to wait 60 days since announcement on website???? is this true? how to be patient with this paperworks, so stressful .....Anyone is same boat with me?

I'm in the same boat. Currently at day 100. Case approved April 27, promised EAD/AP card in hand by May 27 by tier 2 - Nothing yet.

same thing happened to me. I applied on Feb 10th, got approved on May 4th and haven't received my card yet. I called them and they said wait until June 4th!! they have had a problem that time in card production. I just lost one summer job opportunity because of that.

I've heard multiple stories about their disorganization - I spoke with a tier 2 officer who told me that my card wasn't made on April 27 because the officer who approved my case didn't send my biometrics to the card production facility. That is negligent and completely unacceptable.

It does. I received my EAD approval notice on May 6th and my status was updated after a week! still no EAD card though!

Sorry to hear that. Very disappointing.

Same. AP was apparently approved on May 2 and we got a the physical NOA only on May 6, but heard nothing on EAD and neither case status changed online. I called to put in a service request on May 10 and then the very next day both cases were approved online. Then on May 21 I got the formal email response to the service request reiterating the EAD approval, but we haven't gotten the EAD card or AP letter yet. I will never understand the order in which USCIS does anything and they seem especially disorganized lately, but at least we know they were approved. It sounds like a lot of people approved in late April/early May are having similar issues :(. More patience I guess! If we don't get the EAD within a month I'll definitely call them.

Seems like a few of us are in the same position with this issue.

My status says EAD Card is being produced for the past 20 days. No change. I called USCIS, they said "Allow 60 days for the card to be produced".

I don't understand. I see other people, almost everyone get their cards withing the next week.

Did anyone have to deal with this before?

It appears that there is no rhyme or reason to the order in which they process cases. several people have green cards and received EAD/AP over a month ago. Maybe all of our cases ended up on the desk of someone who took a month off!

Congratulations on all the approval and the interview notices!!!

I hope your case is approved soon and you can go to visit your sister.

Trust me, my mom has a rare form of arthritis and I never know when I could get a call telling me she passed away of something else happened. I've been praying every night, hoping she is fine.

So I just got off the phone with USCIS.

90 day is just an approximation, so I have to wait EVEN MORE to be approved. No timeframe when. I put in a service request on day 81. They have a target date of May 31st to answer me.

She actually told me I have to wait..

In the meantime people from April, maybe even May are getting their EAD/AP approved, and I can't even get a straight answer.

I've sent my package on Feb 10th. received my approval notice after 86 days. So far it has been 105 days since I applied and there is no card. I called them once and they said I would receive it up to June 4th. What a disorganized system!

Wow that sucks! Still waiting here too. I'm on day 85 today. I also put in a service request after 75 days. Interestingly enough, when I log on to my USCIS account there is a little message that says my service request has not yet been assigned to anyone to process it.

Nope. And I have the same message on my USCIS account.

I have to wait until may 31st before doing anything else. Lady clearly told me I had to wait. Husband said he was goingg to call next week and raise hell.

What is funny is.. I called last week and the agent told me to call back after 90 days.. He acknoledged the timeframe, the lady today said it was approximate and I had to wait.

2 different things by people working at the same place...

I received my EAD in the mail today. Time to visit the social security office and DMV. Things are finally starting to roll alone nicely.

To everyone waiting, don't give up. It took me around 108 days for approval but it will happen for you.
