Hi there,

I have been reading so much on filing concurrently, and I am confused on this part

Do I file my husbands i-864 with my 485, or can it be filed when requested? Will filing it after delay the process?

Please help

Thanks

If you read the I-485 instructions you'll see the I-864 is a required document; you will be RFE'd for it if you do not provide it initially.

I'm a bit unclear about what you are filing for. You've posted in the IR1/CR1 forum, which does not require the I-485 at any stage. Also you've mentioned filing "concurrently" - do you mean the I-130/I-485 concurrent filing? Are you currently in the US and applying for your green card, or are you outside the US and applying for a visa? Please let us know your circumstances so we can move your post to the correct forum.
