Hi,

My interview is coming up soon and I'm obviously trying to get all of my last minute docs together. My fiancé is active duty military and I'm starting to worry that the evidence I have to support the I-134 form isn't sufficient enough. Is there anyone with this kind of experience that can tell me what I should include?

Many thanks!!

Fill in the form and have proof of anything/everything that you put on the form. Recent pay stubs and W-2 info. Any supporting proof of employment (I submitted employment contracts - and I needed them at the interview). Recent bank statements and property appraisals/tax papers may be submitted. At my interview, they looked at recent tax filings and pay stubs, as well as my employment contracts. That's all they needed. Don't waste your time with bank letters of credit, etc. That's overkill.

My fiancee and I had to show proof that we have an ongoing relationship and that we have seen each other within the last 2 years. We included photos of us together, I sent copies of my plane ticket, baggage claim tickets, Skype messages, emails, and letters that we had written each other or cards that were sent to each other. We also sent a copy of my engagement ring receipt. Anything that shows you have an ongoing relationship. And we didn't pick and chose what Skype messages we sent. If they were sexual or racy, we still sent them. Hope this helps some. My fiance' just got his visa approved today - YAY for me :)

London is very easy and doesn't require a long list of items for proving income. What can you get from the military similar to an employer letter? Sorry I am not familiar with military. Is there a standard military document showing his current rank and pay grade? Or maybe his CO can write a letter saying saying the same instead. Or an Income tax return or a few recent payslips. You don't have to have all of those for a London interview. Pick one or two.
