It should be my wife worrying about all this, it is her citizenship after all! How did I get wrangled into worrying about it? My wife is a sneaky one :rofl:

My wife learned all the answers to the test within a week of applying. She didn't practice for a while and now she's afraid she's forgotten the answers, even though every time I question her, she gets them all. So I guess she has enough to worry about :rofl:

I see you were an early filer and but your 3 year GC anniversary has passed so there shouldn't be any delay for that..

Have you checked your case online at USCIS? I see the other LA person was put in line after 3 days but we all know USCIS is not consistent in anything. Have you looked at the typical LA delay in other months? I'd make my decision on whether to contact them based on that.

Hopefully, you are already in line but you just don't know it because USCIS notifications can be hit or miss..

Hopefully, you are already in line but you just don't know it because USCIS notifications can be hit or miss..

This is a good point. When I received my biometrics letter not only there wasn't any notification, but it was never updated online. Nor has it been updated with "biometrics completed" (not sure they actually do that though). Basically my last update is "we sent you a Receipt Notice"!

So, question: was everyone else's case updated online with "biometric letters" and/or "biometrics completed" ?

Nope. There is no case status change for biometrics. Mine went from Case Received to In Line.

Adjustment of Status from H-1B, Family-Based

Biometrics does not change your status at USCIS.gov.

Once you have passed background check it will change from Case was received to In Line for an interview status.

Biometrics does not change your status at USCIS.gov.

Once you have passed background check it will change from Case was received to In Line for an interview status.

(I must be a really difficult case, though I thought I'm the most fingerprinted and background checked person in America :secret: )
