Calling on you, the almighty and omniscient gods of Visa Journey to give guidance in what name to use on the I-129F.

We (my Philippines fiancé) and I are planning to file the I-129F as soon as we receive annulment documents from the OSG (their approval), and the Certificate of Finality from the district court. Our plan is to file BEFORE recording and annotating her marriage certificate with the LCR and NSO / PSA.

I've seen evidence of this being done successfully in the past (here on VJ) but I am unsure if this is an in-the-park homerun, or a risky attempt to steal home plate.)

QUESTION(S)

1. Assuming we have the Certificate of Finality in hand, do we file using her maiden name or her married name? (Currently, her passport and all identification shows her married name)

2. Are there any other factors to consider when filing an I-129F before the NSO records and annotates an annulment?

1. Assuming we have the Certificate of Finality in hand, do we file using her maiden name or her married name? - MAIDEN name, she is back to her Single name after the annulment. (Currently, her passport and all identification shows her married name) - as soon as you have everything including PSA/ NSO annotations of MC, she must revert back to her maiden name. That is applicable to all government issued IDs and Passport (even if still valid) included. If she have SSS, TIN - those should be reverted back to her maiden name as well.

2. Are there any other factors to consider when filing an I-129F before the NSO records and annotates an annulment?
