*Update*

Whew! Finally... just got off the phone with NVC and rep said my case was received yesterday, but no case number yet :dancing:

I see the light!!! Maybe by tomorrow they'll have a case number (hoping) :)

They had giving my case a case number the day after received :)

We received our case number the same day that it arrived at NVC so fingers crossed that you get yours soon!

I figured with the delay happening they probably won't be assigning too quickly either.

Ok everybody, interview is Friday morning! Anybody heard any tips? For our consulate i heard to bring a gluestick! Even though we did the DS160 online, they want him to glue a photo to it anyway...something like that!!!

Best of luck to those still waiting for approval, and NVC case numbers!! Stay positive! Once you get that NVC id, it all goes fast!!!!!!

Your comments are sooo dead on... they charge for TP in the restrooms too hahahaha My mom is actually from Guatemala and I just went there last Aug for my 1st time as an adult - I loved the experience.

You filled out the right one. As Maria said I-864 is for AOS.

Good luck. Our interview went well. I think it makes a big difference when you go with your fiancée during interview. It shows that your relationship are real. Did not even get asked about support paper. And interviewer just look at the photos we submitted on the original I-129 application. Asked how many times I visited her and where some of the pictures where taken.

Now just waiting for her passport back.

God luck to others as well. This has been an interesting journey so far.

Hi! For those filling-up or has just recently filled-up the DS160, did it make you enumerate the educational background? I was under the impression that it was supposed to but I didn't come across it. Under the Work / Education / Training part it only asked me about my present job and some additional information about languages I know and then if I'm trained in certain things. Is this normal?
