Is your case has completed by NVC? Your timeline not updated. Please explain more about your case so we can help you better since at the normal process with this kind of visas has to be completed through the NVC first in order to move to the embassy.

Thank you

i don't know anything about NVC ,

what i know is , i recieved an e-mail from embassy telling ok you are a widower and :

1- submit medical examination + some other documents and send it to us

2- complete DS-260

3- print your CGI slip from your profile

i prepared all documents and then tried to log in to my profile to check the deposit slip but couldn't find it

i sent to the embassy many times but also no reply

last thing , i sent to the embassy all documents without DS 260 confirmation and they send them back telling " send us again all documents when you complete DS 260"

who should assign the deposit slip to my profile ?

The deposit slip is generated after the DS-260 is produced. I don't know about your country, but my fiancee had to print the deposit slip and physically take the money and slip to a local bank, where she paid the fees. Then she got the medical and interview date.

Steps:

Fill out the DS-260 online

CGI is provided

Deposit slip/CGI taken to local bank with fees

Medical and consulate/embassy interview arranged

That was our experience

Hope it helps. Good luck!
