Need Help

Hello everyone, Im Betty and im new here. My story goes like this. I met my ex-fiance "Perry" a year ago and we decided to be together.. he filed for the petition, and somewhere along the way, we got separated. And i never heard from him again... I was transferred to Davao (south of the Phils) becoz of work and never came back here in manila until March 2007. Now my landlady who's been handling all my mails handed me a bunch of em and told me that mostly are from the USemb in manila.

The thing is, when i opened everything esp the last letter there was already an interview date and medical schedule... OMG!!! I tried to reach Perry and when i did, (he was still in love with me) and i told him that i got all of the mails from the USEM. He said that if i want to continue we can and i can go home and will send me money for the tickets.... (sheesh!)

I mean HELLO! I dont want to be with him and as much as i want to go to the US i dont want to be it like that. So help me pls... what do i do next?

u can inform USE manila about what happend just my Idea.yes its not easy to be with a man if u dont want to be with him lol. anyway wer u here in davao? I am from davao too..good luck.

You should contact USE Manila and tell them what really happened with you and your ex-fiancee. And yes, this approved K1 will reflect in their file so if your fiancee now will petition you, you will need to submit a waiver (due to IMBRA thing). Better act now because visa matter is not a simple one... I thing it would be best too if your ex will contact embassy and the two of withdraw from that approved K1...

A waiver is not required unless the fiance in Michigan has filed other K visas in the past. The recent submission of a K1 by someone else may cause questions at the consulate regarding the legitimacy of this relationship, but will not require an IMBRA waiver for filing the petition.

What do you suppose she means when she says "and I can go home"? Is she referring to the US? I am lost somewhere between shock and confusion with this post.

Actually, if you read as far as her next post, she states that she does not want any trouble when she applies for a petition with her current boyfriend. So it seems that she is asking how to cancel the current visa. I think you all owe her an apology.

Which part of her statement shows fraud? She says she wants to go to the US. I don't think anybody claiming that they want to go to the US is a fraud. She does not love this particular K-1 petitioner and she no longer interested in pursuing that particular K-1 because she has another fiance now.

Her post is actually asking on how to cancel interview for K-1. I would think that she should inform the embassy that she does not wish to continue with the K-1 because the engagement with this particular K-1 petitioner is off.
