Hi everyone! I just have a question. I received an update on my status today. "On Jan6 we updated your name for 1-29f" Me and my fiancé did not do any revision on our names. Anyone who has the same situation as ours? Or anyone knows what this means? We are still waiting on our noa2 and was surprised on this update. Help?

Your file is going through normal processing NO NEED to call UCIS and clog up the phones. I suspect that someone entered you name wrong and it was caught and changed hence the "touch" notification.

Sit back and relax. Your beginning to overthink this process.

I want to have my timeline accurately represent the dates.. Can someone tell me whether on NOA1 received we entered the date that they included in the document stating they received it or the date we receive the notification? I sent my the 16 and they received it the 12 but I got the notification on the 22 via email but the hard copy on the 26.

Hello!

The NOA1 is the date That You received the notification. You sent it on the 16th of December and they received it on the 22? Then it's the 22nd your NOA1 date. Check your hardcopy it will say the correct notice date. By the way, we have the same timeline, lol.

Thanks, on my NOA1 It states received date December 17, and notice date December 22. Which date I put on my timeline? Just to be accurate for stats purposes. Do we go by received date or Notice date? Edited by Kenia~N~Jeury

Hello,

while waiting for NOA2, I've got a few questions regarding the next steps (I am the beneficiary):

1. How recent does the documentation (bank, employer) for the affidavit of support have to be? Does it make sense to get it now, even before NOA2?

2. I have studied abroad in France (7 months) back in 2006, but as far as I know I was still registered in Germany during that time. Will I need a police certificate from France for my application?

3. I have worked/lived in the US from 2011-2013 (H1B visa). On the info page from the Frankfurt Consulate.. it says "Present and former residents of the U.S. should not obtain a police certificate covering their residence in the United States." Do I understand it correctly that I do not need a police certificate for this time, because they are checking this anyways?

4. It also says "Please note that a police certificate with an entry must be accompanied by a certified English translation". Does this in turn mean that police certificates without any entries can be presented in German?

Thank you for your help!

12/23/15 I-129f sent to Lewisville TX Lockbox

12/30/15 NOA1
