Should we bring our USC kids to interview?

I was pretty positive that our interview wouldn't be scheduled during the holidays (between Christmas and New Year's) since I didn't see any in the AOS timelines last year. Turns out I was wrong. We just got a notification that our interview is scheduled for Dec. 29. My husband (beneficiary) and I (USC) have 3 kids together. They were born in Canada, but have their consular reports of birth abroad and are USC. We planned a trip out of state to be with my family over the holidays. We are going to fly back for the interview. Should we also plan on bringing the kids too or is that unnecessary? It would be an extra $1000 to fly them back as well.

4/4/15- AOS/EAD/AP sent

4/6/15- Package received

4/9/15- NOA1- text/email

4/13/15- NOA1 hard copy EAD/AP (NOA1 dated 4/7)

4/14/15- NOA1 hard copy AOS (NOA1 dated 4/7)

4/17/15- Biometrics Letter received

4/29/15- Biometrics completed

6/23/15 (Day 77)- Service request

7/2/15 (Day 86)- Service request complete, email of approval of EAD (approved on June 30)

12/29/15- Interview

Noa 1 August 15th 2011
Noa 2 March 2nd

NVC case numbers March 22nd
My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

October 23rd 2015, Oath ceremony!!!!!​​
