Hello everyone please take time to read I need some advice and help....

We filed our case last July and got approved August 18 but unfortunately my fiancée(which is my sponsor) lost his job after approval... Got my packet 3 October 6,while gathering all the documents my fiancée told me to still put on my ds160 about his employment because he said the background check is already done and no need to worry about it. But I'm still really worried because I'm to going to have my interview on Dec 09...I have his income tax return which is 2014.

My questions; it is still ok if we going to tell to CO that he is unemployed and have Co sponsor even I declare to my ds160 about his employment (I made my ds160 October 20)???

My interview is on Dec 09, are they going to ask the income tax for 2015?

Thank you very much in advance any advices and comments will be appreciated...

How will your fiance give evidence of a current and continuing income for the affidavit of support?

Being untruthful to the consular officer can be dangerous. The worst outcome is an entry ban.

Choose your path carefully.

Without current employment or assets that meet the guidelines then obtaining a joint sponsor would be a wise decision.

A joint sponsor completes an affidavit of support just like the petitioner.

For a self employed person they use the amount shown on line 22 of the most recent year's tax return as their income. They would submit the entire tax return along with all supporting documents along with their affidavit of support form.

My interview is on Dec 09, are they going to ask the income tax for 2015? - they cant ask this now. he wont have 2015 tax papers anytime soon (3-4months)

The current and most recent tax returns are for 2014. 2015 taxes do not get filed until 2016.

I say get joint sponsor, remembering the i-134 is adjudicated on interview day.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thanks guys....

I have another question...

He actually paid well last year until the end of his employment, right after being unemployed he get paid...and also his doing part time job in his dad landscape business and he also has his allowance for being part of marine before...do you think this will be enough to support me even we didn't get any joint sponsor?

And do I need to get new affidavit of support from him because it's dated last May?
