When u put in a service request what info do u need? Is it better do it via online or phone?

I did a service request for my EAD via online since it was already outside processing times (75days). For i485, i am not sure if you can do this online (although i read that their processing times is 4months). As i have mentioned before, a friend's case status is ready for interview but no date assigned. She called uscis but they can not give an actual date. In short, the waiting period continues.

Okay, EAD says mailed on the 9th and Greencard says mailed yesterday ( 10th) so lets see which one arrives when

applied for N400 whilst I751 was pending, however I751 was approved without an interview on Jan 10th /11th

N-400 applied Online: 11/7/18

BIO for N400 : 11/30/18

EST. Case Completion: October 2019) of 7/15/19 

INTERVIEW: 10/7/2019- APPROVED

OATH DATE: 10/24/2019-  received oath letter in the mail on 10/11

Sorry, I meant a service request for my husbands EAD. What info do u need to do it online?

Check that link.. click on case outside processing times.. info needed: receipt number, applicant's personal info like birthdate etc.. your address.. just be sure it's already 75 days before you check. Your count begins based on uscis receipt notice.

Hey everyone - do you get some sort of notification when the EAD is being posted/tracking number of some sort or is it simply a case of waiting? Also, does anyone know if it's delivered by USPS or FedEx/UPS etc?

Interview Date: December 7, 2020 - SUCCESS!

Thanks for the info rona1979!!! This Sunday Feb.14th marks day 75, but we'll wait till Tuesday since I think Monday is a holiday and they will most likely be close which is a bummer and just our luck!

Hey,

I received a letter for initial evidence but it does not tell me what initial information in should submit?

Does anyone know if another letter comes separate to explain what initial evidence I might need?

Or has thus ever happened to anyone..

It's bad enough getting a RFE but not been told what for just makes it so difficult.

So I just got my EAD in the mail and it turns out it IS a combo card, and states on the bottom that it "serves as I-512 Advance Parole".

It's weird because my AP said Request for Initial Evidence on the same day that my EAD was approved and I am still waiting for the RFE letter. I had assumed that I would just get both separately but now I have a combo card... maybe it's a mistake? I think I'm going to call just to see what's going on.

Hi everyone

Some people have been asking how long it takes to receive their EAD/AP combo card.

Mine was approved early last week, I received my NOA on the 8th February and my EAD/AP combo card on the 10th February 2016.

Best of luck to those still waiting. It's a long, painful process but you will get there!

K1 Application Process
20th November 2014: Form I-29f sent recorded delivery to USCIS Lockbox
1st December 2014: USCIS received I-29f and sent application to Texas Service Centre for processing (confirmation email and text sent to petitioner on 4th December 2014)
7th January 2014: No sign of NOA1 receipt. My fiancé (the petitioner) contacted USCIS and was told they would send out a new receipt.
27th May 2015: Confirmation on USCIS website that case was approved. Waiting for formal NOA2. 177 days since application.
21st June 2015: U.S. Embassy in London received pack.
3rd August 2015: Medical completed and completed Notification of Applicant Readiness form.
19th August 2015: Letter received from U.S. Embassy in London with interview date: 14th September 2015. 287 days since I-129F September 2015: K1 Visa approved!
17th October 2015: Married!

Adjustment of Status (AOS) Process
16th November 2015: Filed AOS paperwork along with Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and Advanced Parole (AP) requests.
19th November 2015: NOA1 received.
15th December 2015: Attended biometrics appointment.
2nd February 2016: Completed electronic service request for EAD. System wouldn't let me complete one for AP.
3rd February 2016: Received electronic notification via the USCIS app that my EAD was approved. AP case status never changed from "Application was received".
8th February 2016: Received NOA I-797 for EAD AND AP.
10th February 2016: Received EAD/AP combo card. Delivered by USPS with regular mail, no signature required.

27th June 2016: Received Green Card.
