Hi everyone,

My fiance and I are about to submit our K1 visa this month; however, I've recently been offered a amazing job opportunity in a third country. My fiance and I are trying to figure out what our chances will be of having our K1 application approved if I take this job. Once the K1 visa is approved, I intend to return to the US with him, whether or not I can transfer within this same organization back to the US. Also, one of my parents are willing to co-sponsor and submit an I-134 Affidavit with our K1 application packet. Any helpful information will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Big red flag. What's the point of filing the K-1 if you're domiciled outside the U.S.? Temporary or not, you're living outside the USA. You cannot claim two places of abode - only one. That's the law, look it up. The point of the visa is to bring your significant other into America, and not "hey, I'll come home when you give him/her the visa." If the job is that amazing, you shouldn't need a co-sponsor. And the filing could be considered fraudulent, based on providing a U.S. mailing address, when in fact you are not even in America. If it was my decision, I'd deny your petition on several counts. The K-1 is not for this situation. But then again, a lot of people do stranger things and get away with it. Find a job in USA, visit your fiance, and start the process. Good luck.

Look up Domicile, that is what you need to be when the interview occurs.

You are confusing domicile and resident.

As Boiler said you will need to prove US domicile at interview time.

In the past Morocco hasn't been the easiest regarding K1 joint sponsors so do some reading in the MENA regional forum to be sure that you won't face a big challenge.
