I need your help!

So, my fiancé (the petitioner) is in Hawaii, working. Yesterday, he accepted a job in Seattle. He'll start working there on February 8. He'll move back to Seattle on the 1st week of February.

The status of our case is "IN TRANSIT" to the Philippines.

I wanted to have my medical on the 1st week of feb, then interview on the 2nd week.

My question is, who should we call now for the change of address? Is it going to be a problem?

Thank you!!

Not sure what stage you are at but the NOA2 has instructions on it if you move.. Not sure that the petitioner moving matters much if you have your NOA2? Someone with more experience might know for sure.

Our petition got approved and we already have the case number, the case now is in transit to US embassy here in the Philippines. If they ask the CO ask me where he lives? What should i tell him?

Maybe this thread will answer your question

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/518317-k1-visa-question-moving-states-after-already-receiving-noa2/

I would suggest asking "Greenbaum" as he is very knowledgeable of the Philippines process. My guess is that he has answered that question before. "Hank_" would also probably know the answer. Or you could post that topic under the "Philippines" forum.

hie everyone.. this thread is helpful..im new to it

Welcome to the thread sanzz. There are lots of good people here.

Thanks

She is from the Philippines but she is in the UAE now. She lived and worked there for a few years and has lots of friends there. We decided to file from Abu Dhabi rather than her going back to her home town, which is somewhat remote and a long way from Manila. Internet is bad, and even Skype or Viber is a hit and miss.

Don't forget, if she is in UAE she will need a Police Report as she has lived there for more than 6 months. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country/AE.html

Does anyone have looked again on the Philippine USEM schedule? If the February dates are shown now?

Thanks.

I heard someone say they were open but to know for sure, why don't you go over to the schedule interview page and see if the dates you want are open.

Tell the CO the truth. But in your case, your going to go to the link I provided above where I answered your question and change the address. I'd recommend that you verify with the CO that they have the right address on file.

Note to Everyone Else!

I want to take minute here to tell everyone something that will sink your chances for an approval. Do not ever not be truthful with your answers to the CO. If you are caught dishonest with your documents and or your answers you will not get approved and you may be disbarred from applying for another visa for many years. Just a heads up.

2 weeks is ok to call, but it might still not be ready.

the bigger thing is for you to make sure you are ready!

when you call, know your and your fiance's names and birthdays, and your uscis case number. the recording well tell you what buttons to push. looking up your number is their job, they do it dozens of times a day. it's not so big a deal.

the nvc has a websight, it will tell you when your petition reaches the embassy. you can't hurry this part of the process. just make sure you have everything ready on your end for when it gets there so you can submit packet 3 and get your interview scheduled as quickly as possible.
