I don't think the Ghanaian citizenship will help. Think co mingled lives in finances, car title, on lease, that can be tough because he is not here

obviously without SSN etc. but you have several visits and the other items mentioned (CC, land, ) that should satisfy USCIS.

The wait is long but who knows it may speed up, couple years ago it took 4-6 months. Think of it as more than enough time to collect more evidence.

Ok thanks will work on that, the citizenship was his idea so I had plan to apply on my next trip there he already has the paper work for it, and It would mean I don't have to wait on a visa when ever I wanna go there

It is that easy and quick to get Ghanaian Citizenship?

In the vast majority of cases I see on VJ the issue is not the credibility of the USC but the beneficiary. That is where you need to focus.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Wow. That's interesting. He received a interview before he received a reaffirmation letter. That's crazy.

Wow, what is going on at that embassy???? First they put you in AP, then they tell you the case is being sent back, then they tell you to come in for an interview again.

The best of luck for whatever happens. I do hope the protest happens and something comes of it. The way they play with people's lives is not right.

For the technicality : Consulate can't revoke the petition, they can only return it to USCIS with recommendation to revoke.

So it's not being revoked currently. The case is still at the embassy and hasn't even been returned.

Did you request a second interview through the senator ? If yes then it was granted. If not then

they know a senator is involved and they want to clean their act up a bit for the reason of refusal.

Some get 2-3 additional interviews in this case and still get denied. Some approved.

They will try to trip him up so they have a more valid reason to return the petition. Can you be there and fly out now ?

It would help. I know, pretty much impossible with a job and last minute flight for most but it could really make a difference.

Can senators help ? Sometimes yes and sometimes no, always involve your senator/congressman immediately with a refusal,

it definitely can't hurt and won't cost a penny but it puts a different spin on things with or without an approval.

Even after they tell the senator they are returning it, they can change their minds, trying to tie up lose ends of unreasonable

decisions. No, they can't overturn a decision but they can influence it somewhat.

Amazing stories one seems to disbelieve what is really going on in this embassy? Its not their fault but Ghanaian fault, because you will see a long queue at the embassy everyday seeking to travel to America.

Why this long queue? Most get denied yet they will go back with fake document again and still get denied. I can tell that America embassy in Ghana make a lot of money from these poor people out of visa denials.

The visa fees are not refundable, so i call onto my fellow Ghanaian brothers and sisters to work hard and make our nation a better place to live.

Am married to am American citizen with a 20 month old son yet the embassy believe our marriage is a sham. Most Ghanaian applying for US visa has never cross Ghana borders, I can boost of getting the opportunity on traveling to many countries. Egypt, Russia, Czech Republic, Norway, Sweden, Finland, not adding the African countries.

Am not starving in Ghana or seeking to become an American citizen but God does things and when he speaks no one can challenge his words. I felt deeply insulted by the embassy, am not special than anybody going through these mess but just injecting my opinion.

Yes there are issues in Ghana but we don't have gun shot everyday. so lets cherish the peaceful land God gave to us and build it to perfection, again i love Ghana and will always do.

Me and my wife set up a company which is fully involve into soccer player recruitment, contract negotiations and many more. Fellow friends you can start something which will worth something bigger in the future don't wait for USCIS.

The heart of a lion cant be played with without a good meat....The embassy is like a lion chasing you away.....

He went today and was denied, I don't think she was gonna approve him anyway, his last interview she said beacuse of his age and that beacuse he's Muslim he's PROBABLY already married with kids that's what she tried to convince me of, and today she tells him she thinks he paid me for a green card ?, um I've been at Toyota for 17 years and I don't need him or anybody else to pay my way! So now it's waiting time ?, he will be here one day ????
