Hello again guys,

I've just created a checklist that would also serve as my cover letter once we sent the packet for my ROC. This way I would know if I am missing leaving something behind that I should not. Please see below the things we will be sending.

Please let me know if I am missing something that is beneficial to be added and avoid RFE. We haven't traveled so we won't have any type of reservations or tickets to be added,

1. I-751 Joint form.

2. Check amounting to $590.

3. Lease agreements

· Year 2014 and 2013

4. Identification cards

· Driver’s licenses

· Green card

5. Retirement documents

· IRA documents showing each other as the beneficiary

· 401k showing beneficiary.

6. Tax documents

· Tax Return 2014

· Tax Return 2013

· Tax Account 2014

· Tax Account 2013

7. Statements

· Joint bank statements

· Joint credit card statements

· Other credit card statements

8. Insurances

· Life, Car, Renters, Health, Dental, Vision

9. Car loans for both cars

10. Bills

· Internet, Cellphone, Electric, Gas, Medical

11. Phone records.

12. Photo’s

13. Cards sent to us.

14. Affidavits from family and friends.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks Sukie,

Those are the two that we don't have yet but we just talked about it the other day. Not sure if we will be able to do that before my ROC but will try.

Thanks again! :)

Hello Sukie,

Additional question, we are ready to get our health care directives notarized. I hope this is not a stupid question but how many copies do I have to get notarized? Can I just send a photocopy of the notarized directives?

Thanks in advance!

Hi POA!

You should have an original copy at your home, and, depending upon your state, you should have a notarized copy in your file at your primary physician. A copy of the notarized document should be sufficient for the ROC.

Good on you for doing this. So many young couples don't think of this - and it's the young couples who end up with such tragedy.

Yeah, this days, we can never be sure. We found the health care directives from our state website. I really appreciate your quick response and very helpful information! Thank you very much! :)
