Congrats!!

So I guess it really depends on what state you are in huh.

Cos here....I could applied and got my SSC and driver's license with new last name without EAD or GC :)

Congrats again! Hope mine comes soon....

In PA apparently you have to get a learners permit and have someone with you in the car until you can take a full test.....

Lucky for me I started off in NJ where they took one look at my UK drivers license. I might has well have handed over my library card since they had no idea what it was and don't even get me started on trying to explain how in the UK we have a card and a paper part too!!. Amazingly, they just seemed to take my word that it was a UK license gave me a quick eye test and a written test and I was driving that afternoon....

It will depend on your state. Maryland allows you to take a written and driving exam without the required driving hours if you have an unexpired license from your country. Check the DMV online or call for clarification. It can be a complicated process if your license is expired or unreadable. Good luck.

Received yellow RFE notice — I used old I-864 form :crying: , now need to re-submit the new one dated 7/02/2015.

No big deal - thought things are worse, lol

RFE got delivered.

I'm just wondering now... Shouldn't I have had submitted all of the supporting documents (like: tax returns, W-2s, paystubs, etc) again with the new I-864? I think not.

Note: in the RFE they just mentioned that the form that I used is expired and I need to resubmit the new form, properly filled and completed; no word about W-2s, tax returns, pay-stubs, etc.

Thx.
