Hi, I am an overthinker so sorry lol :P

I am getting ready to file a petition for my fiancee who lives in Canada. I have visited her twice. For the first visit, I have all the boarding passes. For the most recent one, I realized I am missing one from the way there. My trip there was like this: Chicago to New York, New York to Toronto, Toronto to Halifax. I am missing the New York to Toronto one, the one in the middle. So, I obviously have the boarding pass proving I flew from Toronto to Halifax and made it there. As well as the one showing I flew from Chicago to New York. I also have an itinerary, and a baggage receipt showing the New York - Toronto - Halifax route, as well as of course countless pictures showing us together during that time. So will missing that one boarding pass matter? Should I write a note acknowledging the one in the middle is missing? Thanks. P.S. They didn't stamp my passport during either of my visits to Canada.

Yes you're over thinking it. Just send them what evidence you have regarding your visits. I'm sure you have other evidence to go along with the boarding passes, photos, receipts, etc. explanations of what is not included is not necessary.

Hi, I'm getting the package together for my fiancee in Canada. I have visited her twice. Neither time they stamped my passport so I can't use that for proof of us meeting (although I do plan on copying all pages to use as proof of citizenship as I only have a short form birth certificate and I heard that's a good idea if you don't have the long form one). When they see my passport and see no stamps from Canada (but many stamps from trips in Europe studying abroad in college) will that look bad/weird? I have copies of boarding passes, flight receipts, itineraries, LOTS of pictures of us together, instagram/facebook posts about us being together, and I'm also going to print off my debit card statements to show I spent money there.

Does ANYONE from the US get their passport stamped in Canada? Should I have asked?

I'm just nervous about getting an RFE. Especially since I am missing one boarding pass (although it's the middle boarding pass from a Chicago - New York - Toronto - Halifax trip, so I still have the boarding passes from Chiciago - New York and Toronto - Halifax).

Your passport not being stamped by CBSA will not be an issue. You have plenty of other evidence to show that you met the meeting in-person requirement.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
