CENOMAR notice 3 days before interview

Hi all, our interview in on 10/06/15. We got an email yesterday saying the documents we need to bring. Lo and behold, they just now informed us we need to bring a Certificate of no marriage. I am very confused. We have been married almost 2 years. I required a cenomar before I got married. I really don't understand. How can they expect me to get a cenomar 3 days before interview?

Certificate of no marrage doesn't apply to you , so you don't need to take that to the interview

I believe that also and that did cross my mind before I posted here. I guess the Manila embassy is behind on some updates to there email system or something. Thank you the information.

wrong a cenomar is require for a IR-1/Cr -1 visa instead of getting a certificate of no marriage. The person will recieve an advisory to marriage aka a cemar

you do need the cenomar even if you are married. There are lots of recent topic on this subject.

Instead of receving a certificate of no marriage you will recieve an advisory to marriage aka cemar. The embassy will not issue your visa untill they have a copy of that

The embassy ask my wife for that and i know other members on here was ask for that tok doing a IR-1/cr-1 visa

it should be ok jf you can not get in time. They will tell you to bring it to them later and then they will issue your visa

You request a CENOMAR from NSO and they will issue the CEMAR because you are married... normal.

Fill out an application or request for a CENOMAR.

Instead of the Certificate of Singleness, you will get the CEMAR (a.k.a. Advisory on Marriages). It will show all previous and present marriage/s.

The embassy wants the CENOMAR, being you are married NSO (PSA) will issue a CEMAR .... don't have it, expect a 221g, and weeks of delay.

Certificate of no marrage doesn't apply to you , so you don't need to take that to the interview

Not true! And very bad advice! Even YOU best have one.

It's called CEMAR but it uses the same exact form (green) used in applying for the CENOMAR (Singlness), which you used to get married first.

The result product will be Advisory To Marriage instead. That's why most people get confused by it.

This doc will ensure the interviewer (USEM) that she got married now and she's not a single any more. Another confirmation.

Not sure if you can time it right but you might try the NSO's online site to get it. Mail it to an address in the Philippines to get it faster.

best way to get it, if u are from manila go to the nso main office in emerald ave qc near sss bldg its one day processing got mine and took me only an hour.

You are right people refer to it as a cemar but my wife told me if you ask for a cemar form they will not know what you want. unless a person ask for a cenomar form to fill out. Which as you mention is the same form but different results

My mom case also received an email asking to bring a CENOMAR.

This thread help me to understand what and why they asking for cenomar, since my MOM & Dad are married since 2006.

I was petitioned by my dad under unmarried child of us citizen and i needed cenomar too. But i remembered it was the us embassy who requested it from nso because i didnt recall falling in line there
