So my husband's interview is on the 5th, and we just noticed today that we made a small mistake in our sponsor's name. How high is the chance for the consular to notice this :(

No worries, he can correct it at the interview.

Usually they ask you to verify and make sure all the information is correct on the documents, even if they don't ask he should let them know of the mistake so it can be fixed.

What is the small mistake?

I agree with the previous answer though- just bring a corrected form to interview.

***Post containing full names removed and returned below without the names.***

The mistake was in the sponsor name. His name is (name removed - VJ Moderation) and his wife's name who is the co-sponsor her name is (name removed - VJ Moderation). And in the I-864 for the co-sponsor, in the place where I had to write her spouses' name I kinda mixed it up and wrote (name removed - VJ Moderation) instead of (name removed - VJ Moderation). And I am not sure but I just noticed that whenever I fill up the form in the computer, and save it and upload it in dropbox or yahoo some of the information changes automatically, probably thats how the mistake happened in the first place. And I think the same kinda problem happened with the co-sponsor SSN number where instead of 8 there is a 0.

We planned to take another nice copy of the I-864 and the I-864a in the interview. I am very worried. I hope they don't deny his visa or put him in AP for these issues.

:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

I hope so thats what we are planning to do. He is going to take a clean new copy of everything with him, with the corrections made. Are you sure he should point out the mistake or just wait till the consular says anything?

Do you think he should point out the mistake or just wait for the consular?
