So I am in need of advice/ more like reassurance. My case has been at NVC for 14 days now and I still have no idea when it will be sent out to the consulate. Most cases I see here in VJ take less than that. One person told me it was under "administrative processing", the next day I call and was told it was not. I am just unsure of what is going one and how much longer it may take. Is the AP normal?? what does it mean exactly? Besides waiting, is there anything I can do??

Any advice, past experience would be very much appreciated.

It can take up to 35 days for them to process your case. It usually doesn't not take that long but they tell you that to have a safety net. Mine was sent on the 2nd of September. I call everyday and on the 10th they told me they received it on the 7th and on the 14th they told me they received it on the 14th. I called twice yesterday and the first time they didn't have a case number but I called 2hours later and there was my case number. Honey they are just slow. Someone who was approved the same day as me and sent to NVC the same day as well received theirs on the 8th. It's just depends. I don't believe you have a problem...I just this they are th problem. Got a case number yesterday and In transit today. ?

Thank you for your input. After waiting 8 longs months at TSC, there is not much more I can take, it is so unfair, cases that have been received after mine are already sent out to embassy.

mine sent 4th of september, i even dont have the case number yet, did you tried to call to have your case number?

I already did. I am just waiting for the case to leave NVC at this point

I was wondering the same thing. Mine has been there since the last week of Aug and they haven't sent me the letter like they said. When I called to get the case and invoice number in august they said I should be getting a letter in 7 days telling me what was needed.

My case still shows at NVC. Why???

Another person from Cuba their's was received 3 days prior to mine and theirs is already at the consulate in cuba. Now what??

Im so tired of this waiting bs.

I did complete the DS form already. Now just need it to get to the consulate to set up medical.
