Cheapest Civil Surgeon for Full Medical I-693 in Southern California

I'm about to start calling around to find out who is the cheapest, and I am hoping it will not exceed 200 dollars, and I thought I'd try asking you guys first. I'm sure some of you recently went to a CS here in Southern California. I am adjusting from tourist visa and I need to do the full medical and obtain vaccination transcripts to complete my I-693 form. I am currently residing in Orange County, but anywhere in the greater LA area would be fine.

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

I just called this office, as many have suggested:

Dr. Sunita Lohiya, Royal Medical Group
1120 West Warner Avenue, Suite A, Santa Ana, CA 92707
(714) 444-4448

They said they'd do the full exam and everything for 120 dollars, and you do not have to make an appointment, even for the full medical. The guy on the phone said bring your vaccination records and told me about the TB test/vaccine.

Just wanted to give an update in case someone is looking for cheap civil surgeons in the greater LA area and finds this thread.

I went to the civil surgeon I mentioned:

Dr. Sunita Lohiya, Royal Medical Group

1120 West Warner Avenue, Suite A, Santa Ana, CA 92707

(714) 444-4448

The price for the full medical (that includes vaccination transcripts) was 125 dollars, they only accept cash and checks. I think if you just need the transcripts it will be 10-30 dollars. You do not have to bring in a print out of the I-693 form, they will print out their own after you fill out a form when you first arrive.

On the first day:

Receptionist/nurse did the following:

Blood test

TB skin test (Mantoux test). Did not do x-ray.

Measure height and weight

Blood pressure

I was told to come back the next day to get the envelope. This is also when I paid the 125 dollars, by check. You do not pay for anything else after this.

Second day:

Receptionist/nurse checked TB skin test already, even if it's supposed to be 48-72 hours. No reaction.

General medical check by a doctor on table, including checking mouth, ears and eyes. Used stethoscope on chest and back. Checked abdomen. Had to drop pants and pull up shirt so he could survey my body, probably looking for any anomalies. I had scars from surgery, so he asked what that was. No problems.

Nurse said: "See you tomorrow", so I did not get the sealed envelope that day after all.

Third day:

Came in to pick up the envelope, nurse checked TB skin test site again, small reaction, but was deemed negative. She checked the I-693 form they were filling out for me, and noticed doctor had not signed the last page. She said "come back tomorrow between 10-2, when the doctor is here".

Fourth day:

Came in and saw the civil surgeon (Sunita Lohiya). She did a quick check with stethoscope and asked me to put my arms out and touch my toes. She asked me what I did for a living, signed the form and that was it. I waited in the waiting room for the nurse to complete my form and put it in sealed envelope.

A few "hiccups" with forgetting signatures and such, but nothing problematic at all. I would definitely recommend others going here, since I think it is by far the cheapest place!
