Where is I-751 receipt number?

When I try to check the case status on the USCIS.gov web site and I use the WAC receipt number printed on the I-751, I get a message saying "My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered." - Is there some other receipt number I should be able to find?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Charles

It just means it wasn't entered in the system yet. That happened when we filed our waiver. When I called, they could see it in the system. They told us to give it 30 days Then call back. It didn't actually show up until they approved our expedite request. They are so slow...

Agree with Nancy. The instructions may be found on the I-797 receipt ROC receipt notice, fifth paragraph down. Not sure why it is that way?

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
