My wife sent all the documents for me and put her name on the envelope. Is this bad? Hoping all goes well with the documents we sent! Freaking out!

Don't sweat it, it wouldn't have still mattered if your dad was the one that addressed the envelope. USCIS will send you notices of actions on each petition addressed to the respective beneficiary ( I-485, I-765 and I-131) and one to the petitioner I-130 as mentioned on the forms.

How do I find out if USCIS received my documents? Freaking out that I haven't gotten notified yet that it was received. I think I sent them out over a week ago. Maybe even 2... According to USPS it was delivered to Chicago so I know it arrived there.

As long as USPS showed it was delivered, then you have nothing to worry about, and it's all just but a waiting game for the notice of actions to be sent to you. If you signed up for electronic notifications you should/will also probably get notified. USCIS usually take a week to a few weeks to send notifications though. Unfortunately you can't track anything now until you get those notices of action then you'll be able to put in case #'s to track progress at USCIS.gov.

I have a problem and I am not sure what to do!

I submitted my forms (concurrent filing).

I just got a letter saying, "Your I-765, fees, and any supporting documentation is being returned to you for the following reason(s):

The check amount is incorrect, or has not been provided." Then it goes on to say, "Please be sure to complete the application fully, submit the appropriate fees..."

What is the fee for the I-765 Application for Employment Authorization and do I have to submit EVERYTHING (packets I-485 and I-130) all over again? God, I hope not... Also are the rest of the documents still being processed since this document was not mandatory to get a green card?

It looks like you addressed the package with the wrong payment amount. Your total amount should be $1490 broken down as such..$420 for I-130, $985 + $85 biometric fee for I-485. There's no fee for I-765 and I-131 when filed concurrently with the entire package. Your entire package will be returned and you have to send it back again with the right amount.

Starkilla09, $1490 is how much I paid. I had a check for $420 and one for $1070; for was for the I-130 and the other for the I-485.

I'm so confused... I guess I'll have to call them on Monday.

Damn, it shouldn't have been a payment problem then. USCIS workers are known to sometimes make stupid mistakes as such which is really unfortunate as it will make you lose your priority date in an already backloged process. You'll really know when you get back your package. If it's a mistake on their part, send it again with a note highlighting or specifying this error so it doesn't happen again.
