Help!!! I'm new in this site, we have our case number, Visa Status Check it says our case is ready, we are planning to pay the visa and dont wait for the Packet to arrive, just want to know if the U.S. Immigration in Manila will honor hour appointment without the letter from NVC? please help...appreciate and thanks so much...

You only need the Case Number to schedule the interview. Pay for the fee at the local BPI in Manila, payment slip should be printed and take that to the bank. With the payment slip you can fill up DS 160 online to book the appointment. I am assuming you already know the related medical requirement from St. Lukes.

Not necessarily a BPI in Manila. Any BPI near you will do. Print the payment slip on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/After paying, depends on the cut off time you can schedule for an interview.

Thanks guys for the quick and prompt answer, dont have any idea about what is the requirements for Medical Examination in St. Luke's, is there's link for that requirements??? thanks for your help kababayan :)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

As long as you have your MNL# it is ROCK n ROLL time!!! There is no packet to wait for, everything is online.!!!

Do I need to pay my daughter's visa before the interview with my fiancee? I dont want to pay her visa coz I want to get her U.S. Passport since I'm the biological father. I can go thru DNA test if they want me to make the process faster to get her U.S. Passport...any ideas guys :(

Where are you physically? Philippines? USA?

If you get a US Passport for your daughter then she can travel on that and no need for a visa. Best to contact US Embassy ACS Section for further instructions.

They will also be the ones that will tell you where you need to go for a DNA test in the States (if that is where you are) and your daughter will go to SLEC for her testing.

No it does not have to be completed before the scheduling. The DS-160 needs to be completed before your visa interview not before scheduling. Nothing is holding you back from completing it before or after scheduling.

My daughter is in the Philippines right now, shes only 8 months old, I have all the proof to prove that I'm the biological father..

Then you need to apply for a US passport for her and she can leave the PI without a visa on just her passport as she is a USC. Also, get a Filipino passport for her so she can take advantage any benefits afforded a Filipino. Be sure to get Birth Certificates (maybe 3 official endorsed certificates) for any time you need it for things in the US like SSN. She can get a SSN at USEM if you want or wait till she gets to the states. Up to you.

No. But you will need it completed for the medical as they want a copy of the confirmation page on day 2.

Before the medical, as SLEC wants copy of the confirmation page.
