Hello,

It's been almost 60 days since I got the notification that USCIS got my RFE response. I really don't know what to do. Husband and I had so many plans for traveling and now I'm stuck here. What can I do? My service center is NBC.

Hello,

I had an RFE and waited 64 days to hear something. The update I got was for my interview (Jan. 12, 2017!!!) So give it another week or so. I hope that you get some good news soon.

Just checked my status today and it says on December 19th my case was approved. No text, no email, and nothing about an interview! It went from fingerprint fee received to my case was approved! Considering the timelines showed Oklahoma was still working on January of this year, I feel very lucky. Now hopefully it will say they've mailed out a GC soon.

Just over 3 weeks until our interview! Days seem to be flying by lately, maybe it's the holidays, or the fact that my husband has been working so many long hours! He is still enjoying everything the USA has to offer, no feeling homesick, and loves the work he is doing since it's pretty much the same as he was doing back in England.

I hope that you all are enjoying the holidays in your corner of the world, and for those still waiting for updates, may good news fill your Christmas Stocking soon!

Green card was received today. I can't thank this forum enough especially Aug filers. Couldn't have done it without you all. It took me 3 months and 3 weeks from the day I filed to receive my greencard. Files Aug 20th, interview and approval on 3rd DEC. GC at hand on 14th DEC. ROC for sept 2017. Thank you all

I wish I didn't feel homesick, your husband is pretty lucky not to feel it. I have such a strong bond with my family, that it's painful not to be spending time with them today. I'm waiting for the feeling to subside, but our current living situation just means I feel like a visitor still, which is probably a big part of why I'm so homesick. Hopefully in a month or two that will change...

Had our interview today, and even though it was brutal we were APPROVED on the spot and our case updated 20 minutes after the interview! We had not even gotten home yet, lol!!

New Card Is Being Produced

On January 12, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC**********, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
