Thank you for this, I figured as much.... taxes are not a problem, my problem now is I cannot find my last couple of paycheck stubs... and seeing as how that was back in June there is no telling. The company has been closed out and my old boss is moving to Texas from Georgia.

I'm sure the check photos are in my bank as I did self depositing.... could that pass for the information needed?

I save everything I have no idea how Ive managed to lose the stubs..... :(

As you don't have the pay stubs, then this will have to suffice. If I were you, I'd make a supplement sheet with the explanation behind the deposit photos over the pay stubs. That way you cover your bases and don't risk getting another RFE asking for something that you no longer have.

Okay so broken down....

I have all my info (Taxes / W2's and pay stubs) from the first time I sent off the Affidavit of Support for the K1.... but this no longer matters... lol

So now I'll need to fill out another I-864 for AOS... totally fine... only this time we had to have a sponsor as I was laid off. I have a job lined up but I have to go through training first and that doesn't start for another 2 weeks, so I wont get paid either way until the end of Oct....

but with no RECENT pay stubs, you suggest that I fill out the I-864 as the petitioner, send all needed Tax information, and make photocopies of my most recent paychecks .... 6 ish? ... with a letter that explains why its the copy of the paychecks?

Thank you again for the help.... all that happened and then we found out we were pregnant as well so life kind of hit us a little hard but we are doing good and trucking through!

Neither has mine. My date of last update is still August 24th, but I've had Biometrics since then so I know my case is getting looked at but they're just not updating the cases on the site. Don't fret about it, as much as it's annoying!

Hey, did any of you received a letter with invitation to an interview?

Not yet. I'm hoping once my EAD/AP combo card comes through the post that the interview letter won't be far behind.

My status just changed to ready to be scheduled for interview. I was having sleepless night over getting a Ref and it went from zero to 100 real quick just 43 days after filling. I am so not complaining, i thank God ,

I wouldn't say it's of much concern just yet. Considering it can take a few months as a general thing, I'd only start to worry if you go past the estimate dates on your timeline.

Hello Fellow August Filers :)

I'm a little late joining, but thankfully was given a nice invite to the thread... so here I am now!

My husband is AOS (from Visa Waiver) from England, so we filed concurrently so he may finally be here permanently with me and our girls in TEXAS!! Our timeline is below :)

Thanks again for the invite, I had a good read through and am excited to see other journeys that have begun around the same time as my own. Now fingers crossed for some EAD cards in the next few weeks, my husband is going stir crazy!

Welcome! Glad I noticed your filing date so that you could become part of the group of us all waiting rather impatiently!

I know how your husband feels, I'm the beneficiary and not having a job sucks. As I was the lead designer before I came here, it's quite a shock having to just deal with not doing any work. Went from full-time and freelance to nothing and it's definitely hard to get used to. What part of England is your husband from, out of interest? I'm from Oxford and have to say that I'm feeling the homesickness quite a lot at the moment. The lack of contrast in the weather here in California just makes me pine for the rain they're all having back home.

He definitely has been a bit stir crazy about the lack of work. In the past 22 years, he has NEVER had a day of unemployment! He is a workaholic, lol. So sorry you are feeling a bit homesick, that's the one thing I was worried about with my husband, but he hasn't felt homesick at all. I worried that he would want to go back since living here in Texas (well even in the USA really) is so much different than back in England, but he loves it and hasn't looked back! Hopefully once you get back to working, it will help ease some of the homesick feeling for you. My husband is from Bedford, about 1.5-2 hrs. Northwest of London. I think Cali. weather is pretty similar to Texas weather, and I think I am missing the rain and actual feeling of Fall more than he is! LOL

So now we are October, hopefully some August filers start getting some good news soon....

Yeah, I've worked since I was 16 full time, part time and freelance. It feels weird that at the age of 28 I've been unemployed for so long, makes me feel anxious to get back to it!

Don't get me wrong, I love America and living here, I'm just a real family person and I miss them a lot. I have nephews and my sister is pregnant with her second baby and I just feel sad that I'm missing out on being involved as I was there for her throughout her first pregnancy. We're also not in the best living situation right now, so does make me pine for my job and house back home! The feelings will pass, I just can't wait to get the AP/Green Card and be able to visit. Bedford is pretty close to Oxford, you can jump on the X5 and be there in a couple of hours. Bedford is close to Cambridge and it's lovely there, but as I was born in Oxford we have a rivalry with those from Cambridge. Haha!

Fingers crossed we all see our cases progressing faster now. And that the weather changes a little!
