I checked AOS fee this morning, Saturday, September 19, and the fee indicates a change from "Paid" to "N/A." This is the the third N/A. Should I assume N/A change means CC?????? I'm so excited, but I don't want to assume anything? ??????

Yes, this is what it should mean! But, just to be sure, call NVC on Monday as soon as you can so you can confirm.

Thank you very much. I keep my fingers and toes crossed and if I had more hair I'd make a braid.

VERY GOOD NEWS SOON TO COME FOR ALL. Have FAITH.

Thanks! Our case arrived in February. There were problems, some mistakes made by me (Extensa form of civil docs and having them legalized) and the failure of NVC to send a checklist. I should have been more proactive. I should have read more carefully. Still, things progressed fairly quickly given my error. I explained earlier in this thread. .

Hello, I sent civil documents and got their email asking us to wait 30 days for review on Aug 20th. On Sep 19th, I submitted DS-260, I haven't received their checklist even though we left out DS-260 last month.

Do I have to wait 30 more days starting from the date I finished my DS-260? What if in the next few days they send us checklist of ds260, how can i contact them to tell we already done it?

How many days of waiting is normal? So I can know when I should contact them directly

Waiting to contact the NVC is a matter of patience, I think, but as I have experienced, calling them isn't necessarily going to expedite any one element of the process. I would suggest waiting until you have received confirmation from the NVC that they have received it. This should happen within the next week or so, perhaps as much as three weeks. Once you have received confirmation, it's a waiting game. My two documents were reviewed quickly. (I sent them on 30 August and I received the third N/A on 17 September.) The important thing is that you are thorough and careful in sending all documents and in filling out forms. Don't rush any of these things, or fail to read over the instructions carefully. When in doubt, call the NVC and ask questions. Write them down as questions come to you. And as your teachers always told you, no question is too small to be asked.

Once your civil and financial documents are received and you have confirmation from the NVC, you can rest easy. Learn to have more patience than usual. I have found the CSR at the NVC fairly helpful if not reassuring, depending on who you speak with and the nature of your call.

Thanks @MRS1 for your reply, do you know if they perhaps review my civil documents first then reviee my ds-260 which I submitted later or they tend to only review once they receive both of them?

It's because they need your AOS and IV documents when they review your DS-260. They review the DS-260 side by side with the documents so they can't review it until you send in your supporting documents.

Really worried since I've read cases which had to wait for months to complete.

I'll try to patiently wait, hope things go well

Can anyone help me one more time?

Our case is F4, I am 24 now but eligible for CPSA. At first NVC only sent letter with my parents' names on it, however last week I checked, they had my name on with a red "pay now" but when we click to pay, the status is "not invoiced".

Do anyone know why my name was there and why they added but not allow us to pay?

I only sent an email to NVC once to ask if me and my brother were eligible to CSPA, since then, we didn't do anything about this age out thing

Hi Tokki,

I would call the NVC to discuss. Usually the case will be reviewed once the DS 260 is complete AND all supporting documents, including both civil and financial, have been received. Call them.

My parents immigration visa applications has been at NVC for 5 months now. My mom's case is already completed. My dad's DS260 still needs to be reviewed. 14 more days and it'll be 3 months since I submitted the his DS260. It has been escalated to a supervisor review since Sept 2...30 days to review?! One excuse says they are still reviewing April/May/June because of the technical glitch. The few times I have called, they didn't give this excuse. I would have been mad because my mom's DS260 was submitted in July and was reviewed. It's been hard trying ro reach for a supervisor because they also have an excuse. This is not fair, not just for me but for everybody else who are waiting!!! Patience patience patience....I do have that but this is just taking sooo long....
