:clock: Hi. I may not be an April Filer, but hopefully someone can help me with my question.

My husbands i130 application was approved in June 2014 and we have not heard anything more from NVC; what is going on??

Your profile says F2A so I'm assuming you are a Green Card Holder.

Look at your i797c or i797 Notice of Action. Your priority date is indicated there.

Ok. Priority date doesn't really apply to your case. Your category is IR1/CR1.

Try calling NVC. Hold on to the i797c coz the NVC agent will be asking for your USCIS receipt number.

No, im a u.s. citizen. oh and my i797 says july 29, 2013 as my priority date. Also, my i797c has no priority date.

Then you may want to change your case visa category, on the left, to IR/CR-1. F2A is for GC holders; someone may inadvertently offer incorrect information.

what does IR/CR1 mean?

IR1/CR1 is the visa category for the spouse of a US citizen.

<_< last time i tried to get info about my husbands case i got an email reading that they sent the info to our lawyer.... so, i just started calling my lawyer for info. but they lady at the lawyers office isnt in today. so im call her tomorrow.

because in nov 2014 i gave her the IVAP Fee AoS Fee. I have no idea how much longer we will have to wait for an interview at a consulate. :clock:

That's a long time ago. Did you fill out the affidavit of support already? Did you submit your husband's civil documents?

yeah, i paid that in nov 2014 to the lawyer to send out. i just called to the lawyers office and they told me that nvc is backed up. so, it will be awhile until they get and opening for an interview date. :clock:

but, i guess we can keep waiting.

That sort of wait\timeframe is totally unreasonable.. have you contacted your Congress-person or Senator?
