hello,

I am not sure whether this topic has been addressed before. I think on IR1/CR1 timeline page box for DS 260 should be added. That way we can get estimate for ds 260 form. Also the timeline will be more accurate. It will be helpful for new VJ members too.

I agree that adding an IV application or DS-260 box would be helpful as you no longer send a physical IV application. Also you can send the IV package before ever completing the DS-260.

I am unsure if this can be done but can we also remove the packet 3 information? People who do the IR1/CR1 occasionally get confused because we do not receive or send a packet 3, but that information is still on the timeline.

Timeline fields need to be updated. Adding DS260 and Checklist would indeed be helpful.

The problem with adding a checklist row is that many people receive multiple checklists and others receive false checklists. I do not think checklists should be included as a checklist is generally the filers fault. It can be the NVC's fault of course, but generally speaking it's not.

An RFE is different as it's normally asking for relationship evidence or a missing item, and normally only one would be received per petition.

Valid point.. I mentioned checklist as it would be a way to show any case delays at NVC. Time from "nvc received" until "case complete" can be normal processing time (however long) or delayed processing time (false or real checklists). Anyways, it's just a suggestion.
