Got an email from NVC today!

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.
The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.
The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

Every embassy is different. I think the average is around 60 days after case complete....but it could be a soon as 14 days or as long as 100+ days.

Got an email from NVC today!

If New Delhi you are looking at 2 to 3 months wait. Mumbai maybe 1 month.

Good question and I have no idea. Mumbai. Here is a perfect example. I had two for New Delhi waiting since April finally got August dates. Mumbai folk same CC's got June.

Don't know what the hold up is. Maybe short of staff or something. I don't know.

do not the interview time frame from april ---> july as you know there was and still an issue on the system and a lot of case / interviews were backed up for a long time . i would say after july , the interview period to be scheduled is around 45 days - 60 days and that based on embassy and how busy it is

Those system issues should affect all consular posts equally, more or less. Still doesnt explain the extra long wait at delhi vs mumbai.

I'm the unlucky one at new delhi. Hopefully will get cc soon and maybe a Sept interview. I seem to be running into bad luck these days.. sigh

my case completed on June 18 and still waiting for an interview at New Delhi. :( its been over a month and still no sign of interview. when I called NVC, the operator said we have to wait and that she can't say how long it will take. its one long wait after the other. I am just fed up now...can't wait for it to be over.

I am just fed up now...can't wait for it to be over.

Really testing your patience. Once I have cc hopefully any day now, I have to wait weeks for an interview too?

According to some threads, NVC schedules interview last week of the month, hopefully you'll get an upcoming slot.
