Hi myself and my fiancee , she is from the Philippines, are in the beginning stages of the Visa process. Our application just got sent to the California Service Center. My fiancee has to renew her Filipino passport, should she do this as soon as possible or do we have some time ? I heard it was taking about 5 months to go onto the next stage.

Thanks

Art

I would tell her to get it done ASAP. Yes, the average time is 5 months but it can be sooner than that. When is her passport due to expire?

it is depending on her location manila rush passport only takes 10 days and if its regular processing it would take 20 but in other areas the releasing of passports are delayed..example here in cebu it takes 2 months because the person who is incharge in processing the passport is new..

im flying to manila this month just to get mine renewed LOL
