Guangzhou Consulate Medical Exam,Marital and Police Certificates

Hello.

My fiance' has an interview appointment with the Guangzhou Consulate. We have a question about the marital certificates, medical exam and the police certificates:

1. He is single and never married..therefore he cannot get a marital certificate.. he only has a letter that attest to his single status and it is in Mandarin and English...will this be accepted by the consulate? Is there something else we need>?

2. He has his police certificates in a "white book"...not sealed..is this Ok?

3. The medical exam--we were told that if he has a questionable Chest X-ray or anything, there is a 6 week wait for results from the sputum specimen? Is that how long it takes? (an extra 6 weeks until the K-1 interview)

4. Any other details and information for us that will be helpful are appreciated.

2. He has his police certificates in a "white book"...not sealed..is this Ok? Not sealed? Is it 4 pages, does it have the RED SEALS of the notary? Please elaborate.

3. The medical exam--we were told that if he has a questionable Chest X-ray or anything, there is a 6 week wait for results from the sputum specimen? Is that how long it takes? (an extra 6 weeks until the K-1 interview) They may wait until the results of the medical exam are presented to the consulate.

Hello. I have more information:

1.From his legal age to marry(22), he has no record,,so he had to write out a statement of non-marriage status, get fingerprinted and have it notarized(and get an English translation). We wanted to know if this would be enough.

2.Yes, There are 4 pages with Red Seals.

3. The medical exam results..he said that they will send the results directly to the consulate

4.So, actually now, it's the single marital status certificate we care concerned about now. Please assist.

It's simple.

Get the following 3 certified certificates from local GongZhengChu:

1) Birth certificate

2) No marriage certificate (for a single)

3) No criminal (police) certificate

While he's at it, get 3 certified copies for future use.

The GongZhengChu can generate a birth certificate and a no marriage certificate from their hokou. Hokou has that information.

The police certificate I believe has to be got from the PSB and then taken to the GongZhengChu. In some cases, this might be the same building or it may be separate.

Oh sorry. I just double-checked with my (Chinese) wife.

She went to 3 different local offices where her hokou is registered with:

- no criminal report from local police station (派出所）

- birth certificate from another police station （派出所）

- no marriage certificate from Ming Zhen Ju (民政局)

Then, she took them to GongZhengChu to get them officially

translated and certify stamped.
