It seems you are one of the unlucky Texas filers!! yes, it is completely normal since Texas Service Center has a huge backlog, right now it seems they are working on November, December and January cases, even some random February are showing up... That being said, prepare yourself for waiting at least a couple more months!!!

Last week I called USCIS they were up to October 8th. on visa journey there up to November 29th no so that's a good sign. if that right I shouldn't have to wait u September for a NOA2. I'm a little envious of my petition not going to California I'm in Florida and, TSC filer.

I'm in FL as well and I am at TSC. New Filers (from anywhere I heard) are going to CSC now because of the backlog at TSC which includes Florida. Dec Filer and still waiting :(

Per USCIS when you call them they will tell you if your applications 42 California they have to give you notification in writing so unless you get notification of writing your application and will stay in Texas and at this point I'm I would hate to get transferred because then I don't know when I'm going to get my approval if it comes two months early I'd be really shocked but I still think August or September
