I am amazed at how fast the process was. I was hesitant, because I had heard that in New York City the waiting time is much longer. luckily for us it was very fast.

Hi Denisse, I just wanted to ask, basing from your timeline, is Chicago your USCIS field office? Or is it still the NBC?

Our NOA received dates are not that far behind (one day only actually). And the neares field office is San Fernando Valley, although all my NOA's are from NBC. In their processing times it states that they are still processing Feb 2015 filers. When I checked your timeline, I saw Chicago, so I checked, and I saw that Chicago is still processing Jan 2015. But you got your GC earlier. So your case is giving me hope (Although I do know that each case varies).

I think still on NBC, they never notified us that the case had been transferred to the local office in New York. almost it never happens. almost always they make the decision. When you AOS is from Visa K-1

if you check your NOA your receipts starts with MSC, is Missouri Service center, where the NBC office is located.
