IF I HAVE TWO SEPARATE AOS FEE BILLS FOR TWO SEPARATE CASES AT THE NVC THEN WOULD I HAVE TO PAY TWO SEPARATE FEES OF $120 EACH OR JUST ONE FEE FOR BOTH CAES OF $120..

ONE CASE FOR MY SON

DO I HAVE TO PAY $240 OR ONLY 1 FEE OF $120 ?

I got my Welcome packet on June 19th

I chose an Agent for my Wife but was unable to my son (He has a separate case)

Upon calling the NVC i was told that i can go ahead and send the AOS and IV packet from now for review even before i fill out the ds260 and pay the IV BILL.

IS THIS INFO CORRECT or are they taking me for a ride.

I have been going through this Immigration nightmare for 11 yrs and counting and the last thing i wanna do is delay it even more than what it already is.

Correct.

I would recommend to you (if you have not already) joining the thread for the June NVC Filers. Soon they will be closing it and moving to a new thread of July NVC Filers. You'll be able to get your answers quicker and follow along with other members that are in the same time frame as your cases. They will also have an active spreadsheet so you can keep a close watch on what is happening.

Have you paid your AOS fee yet ?

Until then, you should not submit AOS&IV packets

After paying the AOS invoice you can send the AOS and IV packages for BOTH cases.

I was confused because some members here claim to send in payment and packages together and then some say Pay AOS first then Packages.

NVC also told me i can...

Together with my Welcome letter from NVC the following was included in the letter.

1 Welcome Letter

1 Aos Invoice

1 Document cover sheet

After you receive the confirmation of OAS fee paid, Then send AOS&IV packages.

you can do it either way. It is probably best to pay the AOS fee first, but the AOS fee do not have to be paid first. As long as there is a barcode cover sheet included with the packets. You can use the one you receive with the welcome letter, or the ones that you can print out when you pay the AOS or the IV Fee.

It does not take long for the AOS fee to be invoice and paid so it will not matter if you pay the fee before or after you send documents in

The IV fee is what takes a while that why it is best to send in the packets before the IV fee is paid and the DS-260 form is fill out

The IV fee will not be available until the NVC reviews your DS-261 choice of agent form. It is best to keep calling the NVC and have them do it over the phone instead of just waiting on them to do it

i agree with you , as i sent mine without paying my AOS fee first and i only used the cover sheet which also has the bar code on it . i had no problem with that
