You need to get information when you call them that what is the issue and steps to fix. Then send them documents in advance. Email would take several weeks.

Today I called nvc the lady talked with me nicely and not too hurry . She told me u will get email in 7 to 10 days also she told me u have to send i864a form for household. No any other documents missing or nvc need

Same thing happen to me around 3 to 4 weeks back and still no email. An call center representative advised me to send the same documents. We will accept and mark your case completed.

So don't wait for several weeks. Play smart

Guys just got off the phone again for the third time i talked to a very nice agent and she even asked me why i called three times today...and fortunately she gave me the good news..i got scheduled on nov 10.. So u guys, try to call now...so happy here

Im suprised a while ago...i dont know why i cant sleep that is why i push my self to call back again for the third time until i got my interview schedule.they told me i will received my IL email within 7-10 days....so now i cant sleep even more because of my excitement. Its already 1 am here in the philippines....guys update us if u got yours

Hello friends ,I had interview this morning I'm under 21,mom lives in USA she doesn't work she lives with my sister she helps her with the kids, he asked me does your mom work I said no he said well I need letter from her why she doesn't file taxes she has to sign it and bring it back with your passport ..I'm worrying because he doesn't keep my passport is that means denied?? However he told me everything is okay just bring the letter and passport ,he gave me another document to register online ,please help ,I have a joint sponsor who makes over 100k a year ,he gaves me affidavit of support document and the photos,do u know how long it takes ??

Guys unfortunately my visa refused they need original document of my joint sponsor and w2 with clear copy of green card and they need letter from my family in case we are going to stay with our families or contract in case of lease a house one more point they told me to let my wife travel before me to USA

They told me to come back when all the above ready

Just do same what they told you bring letter from your mom... Yes normally they are not keep passport with them take your mom letter and back to them they will accept it .. Do they want original letter from your mom or copy be sure from that

Did CO retain your passport? Were you given 221 g white form for denial? Good thing is that they need only few documents and did not ask for domicile. If they retained your passport then once you submitt required documents, it usually takes 1 to 2 weeks for visa to be aproved? Good luck..

It depends on the consulate some of them retain passport if document is missing so doc them they don't ,they just ask u to bring the missing document with the passport ,even 221g doesn't mean denial ,can be either denial or missing document ,my question is after u submit the missing document ,do they give you another Appointment for another interview? No they do not interview again as only few documents are missing. As soon as you submit your documents along with passport, they will issue visa within 7 to 14 days.

Same thing what happen to me i was interview last sept 14 2015, there is a prblm with the income of my husband 2014 is only more than 1700$ which is the required poverty guideline is more than 19000$ the consul advice that we need joint sponsor, my husband need to fill up the i-864 and the joint sponsor need to fill up also the i-864a and required to submit irs and w-2.... The consul keep my passport and they didnt give me any white form or piece of paper... They said that will keep ur passport and submit the required supporting papers needed... We submit the documents oct 1. 2015, i hope that it will take 2-3 weeks to review before they will issue my visa
