Father become Citizen meanwhile daugher petition is in process

Hi

This is my case:

My wife which is US Citizen is petitioner for my daughter 17 years old, (basically she applied for her stepchild). At the time that she applied I was a Resident (Geen Card) so to avoid long waiting and fall in the category "Minor of a US Immediate Relative Citizen" she was the only petitioner.

Now I become citizen and due the minor age of my daughter I am interested to upgrade the petition and become petitioner too, in order to give to my daughter immediate citizenship.

She already did the fingerprint and received temporary work permit.

Which steps I have to do and which form and documents I have to fill in order to achieve my gol?

To transmit citizenship the child must have LPR status. How did she enter the US?

Filing another adjustment of status (by you) will not help at all.

If she gets her GC before her 18th birthday, you can immediately apply a US passport for her.

But if she gets the GC on her 18th birthday or after, then you can't transmit citizenship. She will have to apply on her own based on the 5 year residency rule.
