Is it still common for most K1 from Philippines to get the AOS waiver notice?

Last time I did AOS for K1 a few years ago it seemed like most people were issued conditional greencard if doing K1 from Philippines?

Hi I don't know about the AOS waver notice, but as for the conditional greencard, anyone who is married for less than two years at the time of issue will get a conditional one no matter where they are from.

Are you speaking of the interview and that is being waived in the AOS process? If so, it's h.i.t. or miss. We didn't have a interview but some have. No rhyme or reason to their madness that I can see.

Yes, Interview for 2 year (Conditional GC).

I did a prior K1 years ago and back then most K1's from Philippines didn't have to do interview and they just sent a Greencard.

I got the Potential Waiver thing yesterday, and was seeing if this was still standard operating procedure for K1's from PHilippines.

It's got nothing to do with being from the Philippines.

Being married to a USC who has previously petitioned for a fiancee/spouse may increase the chance of having an interview.

It is totally hit and miss as to who gets interviewed and who doesn't. My wife and I were interviewed, many others were not, but my wife received her GC quicker then they did (4 months from filing)

We just got the potential interview waiver letter June 11, 2015, so we'll see how long it takes for the conditional green card. A poster on the AOS forum indicated that they filed 1 year and a half before they received the GC and got the waiver letter, so we'll see.
